We are always open to people that may want to work as a kids DJ! It's a fantastic way to make an additional income whilst having a fun time and providing kids with a memorable and impacting experience. Contact us about your interest and we can arrange for you to attend one of our functions to help decide if it is something you are interested in.
Requirements:
What if I have no experience in sound equipment or working as a DJ? -
Whether you're an experienced DJ or have no experience at all, we provide all the sound equipment and age-appropriate music required for functions if you require it and full training in its use, plus full support for any issues you may run into whilst learning and working with us.
I don't live around the Newcastle or Hunter Valley area, but would still love the work? -
We currently only operate around these areas, but would love to spread our discos to other areas! If you would genuinely like to provide these services in your area, then let us know. We can work with you to supply everything required included equipment and marketing to start running our unique discos in your area.
How much will I get paid for each function? And will I get paid whilst training? -
Ahh, the big question! Yes, you will be paid whilst training, and once able to host your own discos independently, will be paid a minimum rate of $200 per function which includes the setup/pack down of equipment, and up to 2 hours of disco time. For functions over 2 hours you will be paid an additional $70 per hour after the first 2 hours.
I'm interested, but not fully sure if it's the right thing for me? -
If you didn't have doubts like this, then there would likely be something wrong with you. Luckily, you don't have to commit to anything! You would be welcome to express your interest with us, then attend a function where you will be paid to see what the work involves. If you decide that it is not the right type of work for you, then we shake hands and go our separate ways. At no point through working with us, will you be required to commit to anything.

Whoa, we love the passion and enthusiasm, but slow down tiger! Get in touch with us by visiting our CONTACT US page, and express your interest. We will then likely meet with you for an informal interview to make sure you understand what we do and how you would fit into this, then we will arrange for you to attend one of our functions so you can fully engage with the type of work and decide if it is something right for you.
